The unofficial start to the summer season is upon us! There’ll be some scattered showers and clouds throughout the weekend but it shouldn’t be a total washout.

Last April, we asked readers to take a survey to help some friends working on a project aimed at tackling shoreline pollution. Welp, thanks to the overwhelming feedback received from that survey, the project has come to life. Introducing the Clean Coastal BeachBin! A portable, collapsable beach trash can that clips hands-free to your beach bag. It's built for sand, sun, high winds, water, and repeated year-round use. We have one and our favorite features are that it uses clips that won't rust (instead of zippers) plus it stays put in the sand on windy days.
